Why aren't you? Kids tend to imitate their parent's behavior a couch potatoe breeds a couch spud, a health nut breeds a baby health nut . . and so on and so on and so on

Why aren't you doing homework or some kind of work or out in the fresh air? And who is to say who is inside or outside, several people can be outside on their laptop.

Homework is boring, the air is not all that fresh, and we get two points for answering your questions.
Another answer could be simple laziness. The sort of laziness that might also cause a "prof" to not capitalize the first letter of a sentence.

Hey, not all kids are like that. Look at me; Jog, swim, and always get my homework on time.
If you ask me, I think it's because of parenting. There are ALOT of kids I've met who just don't seem taken care of, nor care about anything. They don't seem to be punished at all. They're spoiled. But yes, not ALL kids are like that. Besides, some people might not want to go outside with an armed and dangerous house invader out there...

No homework because it's the summer. Not out inthe fresh air because technology gives them more people with with to interract.

I am from Southern California. Here, we don't trust air we can't see!

Kids now days as a rule, have lost there imaginations. They are afraid to get too far from there video games, TVs and refrigerators. They act picked on if you tell them to go outside.
