Yes, obviously. They put sugar in a ton of stuff. Just look at the ingrediants for some random food like sour cream or chips, you will probably find that there is sugar in everything. The sugar balances out the salty flavors. And McDonalds fries arent only bad for you because of the sugar, how about all of the oil and grease that is on them. Eww!

Yes, potatoes are basically a starch, which the body converts into sugar. Since starch is a complex carbohydrate, it'll take the edge off your hunger longer than, say, a candy bar, which gives you a fast sugar rush, because it is digested more slowly. But if you're overweight already; french fries will contribute to sugar overload and the wear and tear on your pancreas.

there is not any actuality to this in any respect. particularly, once you think of roughly it that is a super further cost over the years and have not have been given any further earnings. that's genuine, besides the fact that, that many speedy nutrients eating places spray their fries with sugar water. it fairly is performed so as that the warmth of the oil motives the sugar to caramelize, making the fries crispier and golden brown. If I bear in mind properly, McDonald's isn't between the companies that does this.

yes, they wash the fries in sugar water.. the same goes for the lettuce in their lettuce for salads.. the reasoning is this.. the sugar in it.. quickly raises the glycemic index (raises your blood sugar) so it peaks up and then crashes.. which leads to you being hungry within an hour..and they HOPE you will be back!
Aloha!

It's because they're barely potatoes that are deep fried in peanut oil that they're bad. Lots of things have sugar in it, ketchup does too.

no they don't put sugar in the fries...they do put a lot of salt and use a low saturated fat oil but they still are bad for you....potatoes in general are bad for you

There has to be a reason that they taste so good. I have also heard that they put beef flavoring in them. Yummy!
