is that an x squared.....if so this is how you do the problem

4x^4-4x^2-5x-4x+5x-6
then from here you add and subtract like terms to get

(x^2 - x)(4x^2 - 4x - 5) - 6
4x^4 - 4x^3 - 5x^2 - 4x^3 + 4x^2 + 5x - 6
4x^4 + (-4 - 4)x^3 + (-5 + 4)x^2 + 5x - 6
4x^4 - 8x^3 - x^2 + 5x - 6
