1. WMDs wasn't a lie. Why continue with this false statement?
2. Never said Saddam was connected with 9/11, unless it was a misstatement (to which he is prone). Saddam and alQaeda WERE connected, as has been proven.
3. Yeah, that's a whopper. What we're doing in Iraq is nation-building, any way you look at it. At least he's been more successful than Clinton was in his Haiti legacy-quest.
4. Mission accomplished was meant for that ship/carrier group. That their mission was accomplished and that major combat operations were concluded. Don't try to make this into something it never was.

I'll do what the bush-bots can't or won't. I'll provide the exact quotes, and when they were given:
1) "People don't need to worry about security. This deal wouldn't go forward if we were concerned about the security for the United States of America." —George W. Bush, on the deal to hand over U.S. port security to a company operated by the United Arab Emirates, Washington, D.C., Feb. 23, 2006
2) "I mean, there was a serious international effort to say to Saddam Hussein, you're a threat. And the 9/11 attacks extenuated that threat, as far as I-concerned." —George W. Bush, Philadelphia, Dec. 12, 2005
3)"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." —George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., Aug. 5, 2004
