I've heard people in interviews and all those saying that the casting couch definetly exists. And others saying that there's nothing wrong in it. Just what the hell does it mean???

Directors and casting people may ask the actors and actresses to have sex with them in order to secure a part in the movie. They supposedly do this in their offices on their couches. Hence, "the casting couch".
