Like they say- SEX SELLS- big time. People think oh well if I buy that product, I'll live that kind of life and have that much fun and good looking people around me. Its one of those subconsious things.
They play on your vulnerablity towards what you think are your short comings.

Sex definately sells in America and even more so in Europe. But it doesn't mean that these two groups are anymore perverted or sexually aggressive than other groups. These two just happen to be more open about it. Sex in a basic instinct, a basic need for most human beings. That is why in most religions it is thought of as something evil, just like humans have a naturally tendency to becom jealous or give way to anger. Sex is just another thing, like breathing and drinking and eating. Many say you don't need it to live. And I guess you don't but then again that is a question left to each and every individual.

Because there is nothing worth watching on regular TV. Europe and America? Ever been to SE Asia. The whole world contributes and yes that includes the muslems.

i am not going to say"sex sells". but unfortunately it does. the bad side affects it that American people don't hold it a a tie between two people. through the movies sex has become a social disease and as Doctor Laura once said, "women are like dogs in heat they will stand for any man who comes around. but what they need to do is make the man prove himself and then stand." this is why we have so many young people with child. the parents need to so self respect and not let there kids watch movies with sex. all they are doing is teach the kids bad habits.

Sex is the most fun two ( or more, if that's your thing ) people can do. It's the most intense experience most people will ever feel. Advertisers, movie scriptwriters and corporate executives use this to sell everything they can. That's why sex is virtually everywhere in most democratic countries. Personally, I'd rather have the emphasis on democratic sex than on religious violence.

Most likely because in America in particular, nudity and sex are still fairly taboo. Not many other countries are as uptight about things of that nature than the U.S. Soooo being that it is still somewhat of a taboo, as it has been said before, sex sell period.

The technology in those two areas makes the mass production of pornography and adult material cheaper to produce so there is a higher concentration of sex related material in those areas. This is not a moral issue. This is a technological issue. Look it up. History shows that as technology makes it cheeper more adult material is produced and technology is cheep in those areas and in Japan, home of anime adult entertainment.

sex has been exploited to the point where people are addicted to it. our society has raised sex oriented beasts who can't even keep it out of a typical conversation. Hollywood just takes what the public wants and produces it to the max.
