seems to me,,,America lost it's pizzazz after Kennedy was shot. Never regained it's 'founded' principles. Do you think we'll ever have another President with principles like the great Robert Kennedy and the Greater John Kennedy had??

I don't think we'll have a President like Kennedy ever again. Like the above answer, he was the right person for 1960, because it was just after WWII and we needed a fresh look on the face of the Presidency.
He was a good President, but not that great.

Probably, but look at JFK for what he did in the time he did it. Do I think he was a great President, well....yes, but not the best. If JFK had not been assasinated then we would not look at him like we do today. The same goes for MLK (not bashing just making a point)
Read "To an Athlete Dying Young"
He played a good bluff during the missile crisis, pushed for our place in the space race, and pushed greatly for human rights. Though one may not want to believe it, there are others who could have stepped up to the plate during that post 50's WW2 era.
And as far as principles go, many would argue his were not exactly the best. I think Bobby actually would have been great for this country.

We will find other great leaders, but its not always who is leading, but who is being led. The moral fiber of America has changed. We have gotten to the point where reality trash tv, violent video games, and common crime are looked at with little regard, and that is the problem. Do games like Grand Theft Auto destroy our culture? NO Its just an inkling of the respect we have for one another. If a cuban missle crisis was going on today, the average student couldn't find Cuba on a map.
Enough of my ramblings, just some food for thought.

The Kennedy's had principles? That is really funny. If Kennedy had not been shot, he would have been thought of as one of the worst presidents. He had not morals at all. All he had was a rich Dad.

Hello,
Gosh i hope not...
They were at the bottom with most of the rest of our former Presidents as far as principles go...
To many are blinded still by the Kennedy myth because of their assassinations at their young age(s),And their good looks...
We need a woman in the White House to set this country right...
But i am unable to tell you of one as i cannot think of one yet...But a woman to clean this sh*t a*s mess of a country up...

Do you mean "founding" principles? Listen - Kennedy had his time, but his kind would be out of place today. He was perfect for 1960, but he wouldn't be effective at all in 2006.

Shame, really.

We had one. Ronald Reagan.

BTW, where did you get the idea that Kennedy was great. I have nothing against the man, but this seems a stretch.
