Well if my memory serves me correctly the only popular Hawian native to make it in the US was Don Ho (wired name for an Hawian) anyway the song was Tiny Bubbles, I think that there is a rianbow mention somewhere in the full version, however, i never really listened to it becasue after four courses of Tiny Bubbles you need an galss of wine with tiny bubbles just to endure the song, but that's my memory. That would be Brudda Iz, or Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. Look for "Facing Future," an album with the gentle giant facing a rainbow. The entire album is really good, showing his political passion, his playfulness, and the island soul.

He is a Hawaiian singer and his name is Izzy. His rendition of SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW is quite touching and heartfelt, and was used in the soundtrack of FINDING FORRESTER with Sean Connery.
Izzy has since passed away, but his music lives on.

It's off a hawaiian album, I think the name is "The world of Iz" He died recently and his name is really long, starting with Iz. The name of the is "Over the rainbow" from the wizard of oz movie.
