Wouldn't it be a great world where everyone could live in harmony and peace! Sadly, however, some in the world do not share your and my vision of a near perfect society and want to rule by controlling and dictating others and subjecting them to horrors. There has to be someone who will stand up for those who can not or will not stand for themselves.
Bush is such a person, like it or not.
If you saw your neighbor being beaten up and robbed on the street, would you cry out for help, attack the attacker, or run in your house and lock your door, sit on the sofa and say what a wonderful world it is!
Once when a man pulled a straight razor on me, I thought for a second, "he's just having a bad day and really doesn't mean to do this." 12 stitches later I learned a lesson. People don't think like me - how can that be?

soldiers do what they are told to do. they swear an oath to our country to do so. you can change things if you don't like them. we have a democratic process. protest, organize, run for office, or don't complain.
