Sorry, I should have mentioned that you can ask a question as well as answer one. You don't have to pick one or the other. Also to Sharp3003 many people asking and answering on Yahoo answers don't use proper grammar. It can be very difficult to determine if someone is asking or answering a question.

My daughter asked me a good question yesterday and I didn't have an answer to, I was going to ask today. Why is bird poop white and everything elses brown? I thought it was an interesting question what do you think?

What is the point of asking a question here when people are unlikely to answer to?
Since you will be picking the best question and not the best answer, then most probably people will be posting questions here instead of answers.

Isn't it pretty clear whether someone is asking a question or giving an answer? Questions end with a question mark. Sentences end with a period.

SERIUOSLY! Why do we ask people," how are you"? When we really don't even care to know. I know it's a courteous thing to ask, especially when they ask you the same. I just don't want to be standing there hearing their "problems" when most of it is probably a bunch of BS in the first place.
