I prefer traditional music styles of Mexico. I'd rate them ranchera, mariachi, norteña and lastly the brass bands. I like the Texas Mexican blending like Ritchie, Los Lobo's and Los Lonely Boys. It's difficult to define Mexican music with it's many influences from other cultures. I like the Gypsy Kings, Shakira,Tito Nieves,Tito Gomez,Enrique Iglesias,Gilberto Santa Rosa and Limite 21. I'm not sure what exactly your referring to but I lean toward the Spanish Latin blends.

Oh, it's the happiest music on the planet!! I used to just turn on the spanish radio station to start my day or when I was feeling low. I don't speak spanish, but it didn't matter. That snappy accordian chases away the blues. I also love the sound of the spanish guitar.
