African soccer is getting better and better. There are so many stars in soccer leagues like E'to, Essien, Drogba, and Makele. I believe that an African nation will win the next World Cup in 2010. I know that i was cheering for Ghana this year since the U.S. only knows how to play football with thier hands. Any supporters? or doubters also?

The african game is in fact rising, teams like Ivory Coast and Ghana were in fact unlucky, Ivory Coast the more as they had the most difficult group, but still managed to give good games to argentina and holland

I think that they are improving but they don't have strength in depth. They have a few great players and the rest are below average and they simply don't have the resources in there own country. I think if one African team where to win it would be cameroon or Ivory Coast as there teams are stronger troughout. But European and South American teams are to technically good to be beaten by African sides. African players are powerful but they lake technical attributes such as the first touch.

there is a potential world champions coming out from this continent, maybe in the next 2 world cup. many player from Africa are now plying their trade in major European leagues.
hopefully, the African teams will show their true ability to become a world champions in the next world cup in South Africa 2010.
