Having a balance of what I accomplish each day or knowing everything went right even when it was not planned to happen that way.
When I do my interests (dance, rap, dj, read, etc) I really enjoy them.Yes I can like a job well done at work or when I do house work. It is important to get necessary tasks out of the way and to make sure you spend time on/for yourself.
Enough sleep, a shower (rarely do I have a bath, but those too), good food. Getting a sale on an item I need or want (right away or after a while and I finally get it).
Succeeding at anything no mater how small.
Learning. Not just reading. Learning about myself, life, others, just to know stuff, etc. Everything can fascinate anybody.

Being satisfied. Not needing or wanting more. Having a pure desire to enjoy life without saying "I wish." Not wondering what it would be like to be richer or prettier or have more. Just to settle for what you have and really accept that it is the best and there is nothing more. Maybe one day I will be truly HAPPY. I am trying so hard.

There is no such thing as happiness.
From childhood til now (I'm 51)
I do not remember ever being "happy" as described
by most people.
Sometimes I'm "content"....Thats about as good as it gets
