Letdown means when a nursing mother's milk releases from the ducts....
But for what you are asking a letdown is a disappointment. If someone is a beautiful letdown then that probably means they look really good but it ended up being a disappointment, either because the person dumped them or because the person wasn't as fine as they seemed to look.
That's my guess.

It means that it was not as good as expected. A beautiful letdown might be someone who looks good but is an airhead.

I think it means when you realize that what you have been striving for cant come true so you are let down but at the same time it is beautiful in retrospect because you learned something
