when he first died, i was jus like ok he's gone he's never comin back. i didn't get upset or anything and i jus moved on with my life. but lately i've been hearing him laugh and stuff and sometimes i'll walk into the house and be something will be missing and i'll be like um...where's justin? and then it takes like a minute or so to remember. it's been 9 months, so he hasn't been around for awhile. so why just now am i starting to hear him, and forget that he is gone?
has this ever happened to anyone?

it's a little thing called closure. sounds as if you didn't have any 9 months ago. those questions about why he died and left you. you chose to ignore them and now it's coming back. I did that when my Dad died back in 95. It will go away but you will never stop thinking of him from time to time.
means he isn't really gone because someone is thinking of him.

Oh sure! My Father died almost 5 years ago and just this Father's Day, when my husband reached for his cell phone to call HIS Dad, I reached for mine to call mine.

Maybe once a month I'll think - just for a split second - oh, I need to call Dad and tell him this or that.

Or I'll be at my childhood house and I'll be in the stages of waking up and I'll hear his whistle (he had a whistle he'd do when he walked in the door).

At first they really bothered me. Now I just realize what they are and enjoy the couple seconds where he was back and in my life.

My brother died 6 months ago. I also didn't get very upset of emotional. I think they both are still a part of our lives. That's why we maybe think we hear them or think of them or forget they aren't here anymore. Everyone handles death in their own way. Maybe your just not ready to fully accept it. Maybe we need to cry/ I don't know . We should be glad we can remember their laugh or smile whatever. Also maybe he really is around when you forget.

First, sorry about your brother, and yes, after my Mother died, months later, if something came up, I would actually reach for the phone to call her and then stop cause I remembered, so it's normal.

Wooosh,....you scared the tears out of me..!

Now...I might gonna start ....believing in ghosts.

Are you missing him...so much..??

is he heard by somemore family members too ?

I wish you could see my tears....since...you reminded of my cousin's road accident and that misfortunate incident...
