You sound like a really cool, level headed girl because even in your pain, you know you need to let go. Like the others said, go out this summer and have FUN! Also, know that the hurt won't go away right away, and be o.k. with that. It will get better little by little every day, but heart aches suck, and everyone gets em. Try writing, too. Write songs or in a journal or draw...art is and amazing release and great way to take the pain from inside and put it into something amazing. Some of my best photographs came from really bad pain. Good luck.

Keep Busy Keep Focussed on other things do not give your mind time to think about him Read Books, Go to the Gym anything that can give you the breathing space you need It is a slow process and if you can blame him for the break up it helps to heal faster because you someone responsible for your pain Good Luck It isnt easy The feelings do fade with time it just doesnt feel like they will ever go away right now

Just keep reminding yourself of the reasons you are ending the relationship. If you in fact know that you will be better off without him, then don't feel so bad. Yes, you love him and care for him. But in the end will there be happiness? Obviously not, if you've decided upon leaving him behind. Just trust that what you're doing is correct. Surround yourself with dear friends, go out and do fun things-different from what you'd normally do.

It takes time....lots of time. Until then try distraction.
I don't know what you like to distract yourself, but pick as many things as it takes. You can work harder. You can get more fit and hang out at the gym. You can pick a new hobby. You can be around other people constantly. You can write all the misery down and then read it once and put it away...till the next time you feel like you need to obsess over him. Just let it out...what ever way you can....
It is hard but over time it will pass. Pick the best distractors you can think of....don't hold it in...it creates dis-ease.....let it out.

You have to get yourself busy. Volunteer work is always good, because you are helping others which in turn helps you to feel good about yourself that you are doing for others. Exercise is also great for the happy endorphins in your body. Other than that all you can do is give it time. It will never come to a stop if it was true love but it will get easier and the memories will make you smile.

Focus on the reasons for the break up. There must have been more negatives than positives to staying in the relationship if that's what you chose. Be glad that you've left a relationship that wasn't right for you. That was a hard decision and a great challenge but you were up to it and you managed to do what you had to do. Be proud of yourself.

Time is a great healer, but in the meantime, get out there with friends, meet new people, do things you maybe weren't able to do before.
Just take each day at a time and try not to put too much pressure on yourself to stop feeling hurt!
Take Care x

Time. It's all over, but the crying as the saying go's.
You need to change what you say, such as the saying, "You love him with all your heart" Not a good saying.
Say this instead in the future, " I love him, but, can't be with him".
Go out and find something fun to do. Clubs, partys, don't sit around waiting to heal. The easiest way to get over someone is to get under someone new!
