There're lots of reasons.
He is hot, sexy, handsome,etc. His face looks a bit wild and attracts lots of girls(i'm one of them)
He is young, and has a sexy voice.
He is very talented, as he plays football like a magician.
He is fighting for big teams, like Manchester.
But I think this is the most important point, that even if he did something wrong, like the Rooney Incident, there are still many fans supporting him(me too). Many men would not have this opportunity. That's why so many males jealous of Cristiano Ronaldo.

hi my name is Big Phil, ive been Christina Ronaldos bosom buddy for the past 5 years. I think that so many men are afraid of christina because he is soo sexy, he has the stamina of a racehorse, the physique of a Trojan god, the face of a supermodel. And I would also like to point out that Portugal are the best team I have ever coached and we did deserve a penalty against France. Eventhough Christina managed to slip on the grease dripping of her hair and skin and actually the nearest French player was 10' away.
You should not hold christina responsible for the genetic issue whereby her parents left her with an unenvialble grease gland that spews slime all over her body and especialy hair. This makes it very difficult for chrstina to stand upright for longer than 2 pico seconds. Simply due to the grease dripping on the floor.
In fact we should get a penalty simply out of sympathy for the amount of grease the portugal team has to deal with on a daily basis.
Olvia newton freaking john would be proud!

I don't understand why English fans are acusing C. Ronaldo of Rooney's misfortune. Rooney is a lousy player who got sent off the field because he was striving too hard to be the only goal-scorer for England. If he wasn't playing such a selfish game and trying at ALL COSTS to score he wouldn't have been awarded the red card. Please people, grow up and take responsibility for your actions.
All players play fouls, why should ronaldo's stand out? Is it because Rooney's foul was lousy and caught the Referee's eye and Ronaldo is too good at covering his fouls?
Don't envy Ronaldo, as long as you intend to keep watching soccer you will see him. He's a star on his way to higher heights. GET USED TO IT!!

I don't know Ronaldo from Dr Who! I don't even know who played for either team in my famous hometown 'Liverpool'; but I do know that 'sport isn't sport' anymore, its a lucrative business; and the players are paid far too much.. Why should I be jealous of 'whatsisname'? I have 14 Grandchildren, he's more likely to be jealous of me [in private of course]

If he wants to exercise his good looks commercially he can become a model, and no football fun will bother about him. But when someone goes out and has an ambition of being a good football players only because he is cute and has some cheating/diving skills it is rather annoying

i visit work out the position youre coming from - he's not the ugliest guy on earth yet he does cry way too a lot. Being emotional isnt a nasty element - yet crying almost each and every televised football adventure? C'mon!!! get over it already! and that i imagine he's actual extremely sly on the pitch - mutually with not something is ever his fault and he will cry if the ref thinks that's! all of us else understand what i propose?!

Its not just males who are jealous of him - I am too. I have practiced for years in the local pool and on holiday and I still cant dive as well as him!
Plus he is a cheat. FIFA must stamp out these cheats!

Rooney got himself sent off! He stamped on a player, and pushed another one, nobody MADE him do it!!
