You had better let this go. If you ask her, and she admits to one or more, you KNOW you'll wonder if you measure up to him. That's today's hurt.

Down the line, after marriage, and in the course of an angry quarrel, she will shout that you are NOT the man he was, and that barb will not be removeable from your soul.

If love is not enough for trust then there is not enough love.

It is amazing that someone would consider making a lifelong commitment to someone that they are not comfortable discussing sexual history with.

The only way you should even consider trying to find out about your partner's sexual history is through discussion. Contrary to myth, a person cannot reliably determine this through intercourse. Some people are "naturals" and really good the first time, most are not. Many men can't tell the difference anyway (or don't care)! Physical resistance may be an indicator if a female has her hymen intact, but many females tear it in other ways such as sports, self stimulation, or physical injury. Plus, parts come in all sizes on either partner, so loose or tight doesn't necessarily mean much.

As to the testing, if you have been sexually active, you should be tested. Same for your partner.

A larger question is why this is such a big issue. What difference does it make? Either you care for and love and trust her or you don''t. Whether she has had sexual relations shouldn't affect this barring some extreme circumstances (such as a former career in adult entertainment).

Um - you're engaged, and you don't know if she's a virgin???? Hmmm.

Well, yes, STD testing is always a good idea, especially at the beginning of a relationship. But your fiancee? Is this an arranged marriage and you don't know her, or what?

Well you can just ask her. This kind of question should have been approached a long time ago before there was even a proposal. Just ask her there's nothing else you can really do. I guess if she your friend it wouldn't be a big deal to ask. Good Luck and hope everything works out for the best.

The first time you make love, if it's hard to go inside of her, then she was a virgin. If run in it and it's wide open, then she wasn't a virgin. Anyway it goes when you find out, it'll be too late. I do agree though, her word may not be enough because people lie. You just have to accept it.

The easiest way to find out if he is a virgin or not is sleep with him...First off..if he knows what he is doing then he isnt one...And also if he has sex with you he isnt..so you get the same answer either way....It sounds like you and your friend have serious trust issues...maybe you should reconsider marrying someone you don't trust.

If you dont think your fiancee is telling the truth, then you have trust issues. Should you really be getting married? After all trust is an important building block.

Ask her and then believe her answer. If you love her, you won't press the issue and make her feel like she is under a microscope. There are bigger issues to face in marriage.

Honesty and communication is key to any relationship. So you should feel free to ask her on both topics. Open communication is critical to any marriage. You should feel free to talk about anything, anytime, anywhere. Good luck.

Are you a virgin? If not you have no right to expect your fiancee to be one. You sound like a control freak.
