Wrong. Weapons of mass destruction have been used dating as far back as 429 BC, when Spartans ignited pitch laced with sulphur which then released toxic fumes.

Almost every country has used WMD's at some point in their history. The US is just one of them.

WMD refers to Nuclear, Biological and Chemical weapons. The USA is the only country to have used nuclear weapons in combat. But many countrires have used chemical weapons such as the UK and Germany in the first world war and Iraq and Iran in the Iran-Iraq war.

Ummmm. Besides Nuclear/Atomic weapons, Biological and Chemical weapons are considered WMD's. These 2 types have been used dating back to when armies trying to conquer castles would catapault (dead, rotten, and diseased animals) over castle walls and/or attempt to poison their water supply. These 2 weapons have been developed over the years of course have been deployed by numerous civiliations, countries, nations, cults, fanatics, malitias, whatever you want to call them in many different battles and attacks (Germany--WWI and II, Iraq--against neighboring countries and own citizens, Tokyo subway attack by cult, to give some examples from this most recent century). But if you mean Atomic weapons only, then Yes, the U.S. is the only country to deploy them with the intent to cause harm. But other countries have test detonated Nuclear/Atomic Weapons as well.
