Price sounds resonable - if you're concerned, ask for the old parts back.

If the car is overheating there is a problem in the cooling system. Since you meantion electric fan and the sensor as parts on the list, this WOULD cause the overheat problem. Without knowing the model car a "ballpark" figure of $100 for a fan motor and $30 for a sensor is right on with your two prices. The idle going up and down on its own could be the idle speed sensor. If you push on the accelerator and notice it acting funny, i.e. there are positions on the pedal that make the car go slower or die, then the idle speed sensor could be the fault. And your price is about right. $75 per hour shop labor is about standard. For the work being done I'd say two or three hours is fair. Depending on the car the thermostat/coolant level sensor is a half hour job, same with the idle sensor. An hour to change a fan motor on a radiator fan seems a bit short. All in all this is a very fair price. This is IF all of the listed parts are bad.

That sounds very reasonable actually. If your concerned about the price take it for a second opinion, but those prices sound correct.

Sounds about right. If you don't trust them, go take it to another shop and have them inspect it.
