No. Those are the people of the extreme left brain, the scientists, and the extreme right brain, the artists. There are some who are able to use both sides of their brain equally and balance out their intellect and creativity.
To give one example: an architect. They have to use extreme intellect in creating buildings, and yet, some of them are very artisitic as well as can be seen in many extravagant and beautiful buildings around the world.

No, not everyone who isn't scientific can be classed as artistic, or vice versa. Likewise, it's possible to be both scientific AND artistic.
Scientists and artists are only two specific kinds of people. The world is made up of a huge variety of people with different types of minds, and to divide everyone into two groups is very limiting.
However, it IS true that people are either left-brain dominant or right-brain dominant. This does not determine any scientific or artistic inclination though.

No.
Who says you can't be both an artist and a scientist?
And, what of the illiterate, blind, and disabled?
If you can't see the world in terms of art and science then how can you be an artist or a scientist?
There are millions of people who can't understand a VCR, what are they? As a Scientist it makes sense. As an Artist it makes sense, optics.
This thought doesn't make sense.

uhhhh no i cant say that i do! For one both an artist and a scientists have a great imagination, there are a lot of unimaginative people in this world! So that alone would make three types of people!!!! I am sure there are more!

If you mean that some people create and some people study the creation and develop technology for their advantage.
Yes. However both are the educators of the society.
But then there are some who do not create or study the creation.
Businessmen and Commanders are not educators they use the scientist and the artists.
Then there are the laborers and soldiers who execute the orders.

No, there are no kinds of people. Everyone is completely different, surey a Christian priest is no scientist, nor an artist. Sponge Bob is the same. Too bad there are no Christians though, or Sponge Bobs, because everyone is different

While the world of academia is often divided into "the arts" and "the sciences," I don't think that people are so easily categorized as being either. Some are both. Some are neither. And I think that an attempt at so dividing people is the result of science/social science moreso than the arts.

No because there are humanitarians that are not of the scientific or artist mind--without the humanitarians ? There would be nobody to protect the people and the planet that sustains the lives of all the rest..

I agree practically but not basically.Scientists explore nature intellectually seeking subtilities of truth studying gross phenomenal manifestations.Artitists seek to display subtle nature into creativity through expressions of beauty and symmetry. Both these are people of extrordinary intellect and practical wisdom. Considering human beings basically we observe that the above two types are seeking practical definition between their inner self and external expression falling into one class. There is another class of people who seek definition between their inner self and external expression-the spiritualists. So taking the two types and classes humanity is struggling to know the ultimate nature of everything and realise the truth between the inner and outer expressions.
