I have antique items (old stoves) that could be used in films and would like to know how to contact prop buyers.

There are a number of prop houses. They seldom buy new props except when they are looking for something specific for a particular film and then they put it in their inventory. Prop buyers scan craigslist, ebay and other internet sources when looking for unusual props.

If you have a website, list your best stuff in your title page so search engines will pick it up.

most big companies will just build a prop for a movie or show. If you are looking for a place to sell your stoves and they do not weigh a lot, you should call your local theatres to see if they would want to buy them from you.

Or for a tax write-off you could contact local universities that have theatre departments. They love that kind of stuff!
