In this year MS Dhoni had scored 148 runs in an innings.
And also this is the highest score in tests (his career) till now.
He had made it Vs Pakistan at Faisalabad, 2nd Test, 2005/06
Small data about that match :
Dhoni made 148 runs in 152 balls hitting 18 fours and 4 sixes against pakistan in 2nd test at Iqbal stadium faislabad (jan 21 to jan 26th) and was stumped by Kamran Akmal on the bowling of Danish Kaneria. He was stumped in 141.4 overs and the score was 491 for 6. India was all out for 603 and the match was drawn.
This is the only century in his career till date.
Another interesting thing is that His ODI highest score is 148 and that too was against Pakistan only.

Are you gone mad peoples. His highest score this year is 148 against Pakistan at Faisalabad. India was in deep trouble at 281 for 5 (in reply to Pak´s total of 558), then Irfan Pathan joined him, and they put on a 210 runs partnership. Pathan made 90. Dhoni raised away to his fifty on 34 Balls. He got stumped (trying to get his 150 mark with a six) to Danish Kaneria. Dhoni was actuelly gone for 144, but later on "the umpire" decided to add more 4 runs to his total. Because Shoaib Akhtar bowled a dengerous delivery to him( Shoab couldn´t control his anger, because Dhoni hit him for 3 cunsecutive fours), which was given as byes, but umpire thought that he should get 4 extra runs, because he could have lost his life(was very dengerous, believe me!). And umpire did what he should have!

His highest test score was 148 against Pakistan and highest one-day score was 183* against Sri Lanka.
