I would tolerate her but only in small doses. Unfortunately, when people have negative energy, they drain yours and it's really not fair. I wouldn't dump her as a friend though. No one's perfect but if you can't deal with her some days, then don't!

Recognize that sometimes people grow apart. Her life path may be to work through some negative issues. Respect that, but realize that doesn't mean you have to work through those issues with her.
Like attracts like, so focus on your positive energy, and you'll find positive people are drawn to you. Make new friends. Send her silent blessings, wish her well, but don't feel obligated to be dragged down by her.

Had the same problem...I told my friend that I loved her,but that sometimes I just didn't have the energy to carry her problems as well as my own.She got the hint and was more careful about overloading me after that.

well i would tell her that shese being WAY too negative and that she needs to think positive about alot of things because i know if you tlak to her there is a chance that she will change for her friendship but if that doesnt work than just wait and if it really starts to bug her than gradually just stop hanging around her becasue negativity is contagious.
