Hmm...well i guess if that makes you a geek then i am in your class then... i love suduko actually its an abbreviation the long version is Suuji wa dokushin ni kagiru" (数字は独身に限る, ), "the digits must remain single......
okay i have to go now....before i start to get all informative with all games

I own and play a lot of games, but I do love Sudoku as well. Every morning between classes, a couple of classmates and I have the "Sudoku Challenge" where we race to finish the newspaper puzzle first. I usually lose that one, but from there it's "Crossword Challenge" where two of them team up and try to work the crossword against me. I tend to win that one, though.
Though I do have fondness for Scrabble, I prefer Buyword. Not quite the same game, but the elements of getting tiles and anagramming are still present, and, much like Scrabble, more points are earned for longer words (though there is no Bingo bonus)
BTW, I do love board games, and I get a lot of information on them from BoardGameGeek.com (or bgg.cc)

I'm totally addicted to boardgames! I have a group of fellow geeks that plays together at least once a week, although we play boardgamegeek-type games (Puerto Rico, Power Grid, Ra, Settlers of Catan, etc.), not the more mass-market games like Monopoly and Scrabble.

Don`t like Sudoku but enjoy scrabble and monopoly. I live alone so end playing Solitaire but have online games for millionaire and monopoly.

scrabble is my favorite board game and chess is one of my favorites 2, I almost always play sudoku in the morning, monopoly is pretty fun 2, but i've never finished a full game of it

No you aren't a geek :). I own over 200 boardgames, and play different games on a weekly basis with my friends.
I am not addicted to any of the above games, I am addicted to games in general.

well im a total monopoly geek, scrabble freak and i just love all board games i become a total insane, freak, geek board gamer when it comes 2 play them... so watch out.. lool
