There is no reason why not. It is like that one quote, "Dream as if you will live forever, live as if you will die tomorrow."

It does mater what you are doing; you can make the most of it. We all have responsibilities, jobs, or whatever to do, but we can still make the most out of life by doing everything to the best of our abilities.

I think the best way to sieze life is to help others. I get such a wonderful feeling when I know that I have truly helped another person. Also, one who give his life to benefit others becomes a heroe in the minds of others and will be remembered by those he helped, even after he passes away.

And you can have fun and live life to the fullest in whatever you do- work or play. It all depends on the mindset you have and what attitude you decide to put on.

So live life to the fullest!

Carpe Diem... SEIZE THE DAY!

I sieze it every day. I'm not going to do something crazy like spend every penny I have today to go do something insane because I don't know when I'll die, but I do all I can to live life to the fullest each day.

Some people don't take advantage of life until something happens to think it could end soon, such as a life threatening illness. My aunt would rarely go anywhere or do anything. She'd just sit in the house feeling depressed and smoking cigarettes. Now she has incurable (but possibly treatable) lung cancer in both lungs and in the pancreas. Now she's getting out visiting and shopping, etc.

That's a very good question. I sometimes wonder the same thing myself. Why the heck do we not seize life as it is. Someone could be hunting us down right now, so we should just enjoy life. Now I'm a freaking hypocrite.

Because you may also live for 50 more years. What are you going to do when all you've done was Carpe Diem and didn't work? I stopped and smelled the roses, lived each day like it was my last, and became lazy.

The true answer to this question, would harness the meaning of life itself. Why do we, or don't we do things that will make us happy or feel fulfilled? Because we feel immortal, even though we can die at any moment, we feel as though tomorrow is ours to take, and always will be.

Good question
