If two enter a marriage with high expectations and expect each other to fulfill them,it will never happen and both get depressed. Now if they enter amarriage not knowing what to expect, but each respect each other enough to know that together they can handle anything that comes their way and grow together and love each other no matter the outcome, then they can expect a happy and loving marriage for years to come!

Some great advice I received was "People never act how you expect them to." I agree that this can be diminished by knowing the person well before you mary and growing together. People change, but whether that causes you to grow apart or together is up to the two of you.Talk about what you want and expect from each other and from marriage in general as your needs and wants change over time. Initially there are little things and compromises you didn't expect as you learn to live together, but this is a part of life - "Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans."

thats why i believe in liveing together for a year first to see what the othe person is all about, to see if things bug you about him or if you do things that upset him,, if you see its awfull tense then go your own ways before you end up hateing each other, that way you split up as friends, that didnt work out as partners.
