I suppose it's possible for a short amount of time, I remember an article about a man who actually got swallowed...but he passed out from the whale's body heat soon, so it's not like you could take your little houseboat and live off fish in the whale's belly. I suppose if you passed out you wouldn't require so much oxygen, so you might survive a little longer.

I have lived in 2 bowhead whales, a sperm whale, a pilot whale, and a beluga. bowheads are nice but it's always cold outside so you never want to leave the whale. the sperm whale was nice, I would live in one again. the pilot whale was sporty and comfortable, but the beluga was a little cramped, and no good for parties. if you want to be more than just a man, and maybe want to bring some family to live with you in your whale, you should definitely get a bigger one. they all seem much bigger on the outside than they feel on the inside.

not for very long.
there really isn't a large open space inside a whale for the man to be without being crushed. not to mention the lack of oxygen and other problems.

Jonah did for three days - well it was a big fish, so it was more likely a shark - but it depends on the situation - you know...how much air and what not...
