national curricula are very rarely followed as it is up to states to determine the nature of education within their on borders. what would probably be more accurate is to check your state's art curriculum. just do a search for your state dept. of education and look under visual arts and curriculum standards. also check your district's website for arts curriculum. i included a link to the U.S. DOE for arts but i could not find anything on a particular arts curriculum.
the second link has content standards for k-12 but it's from the kennedy center's website. and i'm not sure if that qualifies as 'national standards'.

Try looking on an examining board website - that will tell you what sort of things are needed for the exams
