I'm no geologist but it seems like the moving pebble is the only one that has material actually moving. THis is a very hard question, i would have to see the definition of erosion you're working with. But i would pick the pebble because it's actually moving away from where it was...which is what erosion means.

d.
erosion is the gradual reduction of ground through natural means. (my own definition) usually you think of topsoil getting washed away by rain. but it has to become soil before it can get washed away, so i think that the crumbling of bedrock is how erosion starts, before we even think about water washing it away.
my second choice would be b, but acid rain isn't natural, and a gravestone isn't ground, so i think the process is similar to erosion, but it doesn't fit the definition for above reasons.
ps. let us know what the answer is!!!

I'm guessing d, because it seems like it's stuff being broken apart to form other stuff...c) doesn't seem right to me because the rolling of a pebble doesn't really wear away anything. I'm interested to know the answer though - be sure to tell me what it actually is.

erosion: the wearing away of soil and rock by weathering, mass wasting, and the action of streams, glaciers, waves, wind, and underground water. (DICTIONARY OF GEOLOGICAL TERMS)
based on this definition I would say that a) is the best example
