Some evening go down to the burning Ghats in Beneres. Climb up the tall slender building behind the ghat and look down from the second floor on the sight. There are men, that just burn bodies all day long. Today it was 40C and there they are stoking large fires with the remains of a person. Oh, look there is one shooing a day away. What does the dog want? Here comes another family. Look at that one, he must be stacking wood for that body that just arrived. Phew, what do you think the temperature is down there 60C, 65C, more? How long do you think they work 10-16, hours a day. I don't think they get paid much. I saw some of them (I thought) sleeping very late at night by the ghats.
What do they think about while stacking wood and stoking burning bodies? I really wonder?
