Right now, the public needs the gas companies because we do not yet have a nation-wide alternative fuel. You saw a Sci-Fi flick and got all caught up in it! The earth is not going to explode due to warm water!!! The earth is filled with molten lava, which erupts, from time-to-time, in a volcano. This relieves the pressure in our earth's core so that our earth will not "blow up". President Bush is an oil man at heart, so really, in real life, he does not want to shut down all gas stations. The only way that every living thing will be wiped out will be from famine and extreme thirst. Everything is in God's hands. Relax. Next time, watch a comedy. You have to know that they make scary shows to SCARE people. Congratulations! You got scared. The movies that are based on real stories say so usually before the movie starts. You can't take everything you see to heart.

I do not know the programme but what you are saying is totally wrong.
Before the water got warm enough just to boil off as steam all life on earth would all be long dead.
President Bush would not ever contemplate shutting down the gas companies as the world is gas dependent. No gas = no power. No power = no light, TV, fridge, freezer, transport etc. Worse it would mean no hospital equipment would work and millions of people would die. Disease would become rife and the likelihood is that it would lead to the extinction of human beings.
Sounds like you have been listening to a whole load of green spin. Do not believe a word of it.

I don't understand how hot water would make the Earth explode. It seems to contradict physics, as well as thermodynamic laws.
What would shutting down gas companies do anyway? Greenhouse gases would still be produced to heat up the water anyway, with the next short-sighted fuel source we creat our use. And every living thing usually gets wiped out over time, its the way nature works.

I'm with you, we got to relax, on everything. War, misuse of natural gases, we're throwing this planet off balance. Stephen Hawkins just recently put out a statement at an event saying;"If mankind does not get people living on the moon or mars within 50 years, mankind will destroy itself and the species will no longer exist."

God said that the end of the world will end in Fire. We Christians have been telling people that the end is near for far longer than the presidents. Maybe now you will listen. Repent before it's too late.
