Like suspended water molecules in the air that are refracting light. As to what that feels like, spray a fine mist with your hose and walk into it. Of course, if you could touch it, then the leprechaun who hid his pot 'o gold would stab you with a rusty nail. I'd go with the hose. Less dangerous.

I think it's like air, except you can see it. So, your hand would move through it and not feel it... just like a hologram.
