Masters entered the hunt for the WWE Intercontinental Championship but Masters would soon be taken off the road with WWE after failing a WWE-administered drug test. Chris Masters failed the WWE drug test and in now in rehab. However, WWE is not so fast on bringing him back. Evidently, he has a lot of "growing up" to do!

I think he was let go for a couple of weeks because they found out he was positive in a drug testing test or something like that
