found some information online, some say yes , some say no. so which exactly is the correct way?

i am an optician and you are supposed to put them in before putting on your make-up so you don't get it in your eye while putting your contacts in. keeps them clean

I prefer putting them in before I do my eye makeup, because if I wait until my makeup is done to put them in, sometimes my eyes will tear up and cause my makeup to run down my face. Plus, you're able to see better when you apply your makeup.

I put them in before my makeup because I tend to mess my makeup up if I don't because that is the only time I have problems with them cooperating, go figure.

I put on my contact lens before. That's when my hands are clean.
Also it helps me see better.
Most eye makeup is mild enough anyway.

For me anyway. I put my contactlens first then apply my eye make.

before... because you see better. and if you put makeup on first it will get messed up because your poking into your eye. i put mine in 1st

first...it smudges after and then u have to redo it anyways so put them in first
