Jenni Rivera and the Connecticut school shooting? Seriously? How about recognising that America is not the centre of the universe and worse things happen in other countries? If World War II didn't cause Judgement Day, why should 29 people passing away cause it?

Everyday should be your own personal judgment day. I know you have concerns about the world and sometimes it seems like there is nothing you can do to help. So you pray and hope you will go to heaven when you die.
Make your life on earth heaven by being responsible for your own actions. You can make a difference in this world even if its committing one random act of kindness everyday.

Assuming there is going to be a Judgement Day (a big assumption), it's one day closer than it was yesterday. So the answer is it's nearer.

God is Lord... so everyday is judgement day.. the best way to know is to know Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour... the rest you really shouldn't worry about because with Christ.. all things are manageable.

One day you'll stop to judge yourself, completely...done...then you'll understand clearly what Judgment Day meant, and how long that Day last..Then statement "as above , so bellow", will appear to you in a different light. But first learn basic, as anyone else.
