First and most you need to find out when are you most fertile

1. read http://www.fwhc.org/birth-control/fam.htm and do a table, everyday to see when is your temperature at its lowest during the month..
Using an easy-to-read thermometer, take your temperature every morning immediately upon waking and before any activity. Use graph paper so you can see the rise and fall of temperature (see below).

Cervical fluid changes consistency during the menstrual cycle and plays a vital role in fertilization of the egg. Present in the days preceding ovulation, fertile cervical fluid aids in drawing sperm up and to the fallopian tubes where fertilization usually takes place. It also helps maintain the survival of sperm inside the woman’s body.

Immediately before ovulation, the temperature drops briefly. Within 12 hours of ovulation the BBT (body temperature) rises several tenths of a degree and remains up until the next menstrual period. When your temperature stays high for 3 days in a row, the fertile period is over and the safe infertile time begins.

2. Stay away from caffeine and alcohol (or any medication and drugs)

3. Go to the doctor and a good check up and do the DNC (it often helps as with age alot of periods leave alot of staff behind..)

4. Then choose the best position.. not only as you having sex (ok, some positions are deeper) but after.. (dont walk around straigh away) to keep the sperm flowing direction of you ovaries (keep legs up) read: http://www.babyhopes.com/articles/sexpositions.html

5. body mass index (BMI) is below 20 or above 30 have a harder time getting pregnant, so it's a good idea to try to get yourself into the 20 to 30 range before you start trying.

6. Some experts say that if a woman is highly aroused while she's having sex, the sperm has a better chance of fertilizing her egg. Others say it makes absolutely no difference. It definitely wont hurt and may even help in boosting your libido and killing that awkward feeling of having sex for pregnancy.

7. Make your vaginal environment as sperm-friendly as possible. Avoid vaginal sprays and scented tampons, artificial lubricants, and douching. Not only can they cause infections, they may wash away cervical mucus or create a hostile environment for the sperm.

8. for your MAN: Ask your partner to chuck all briefs and opt for boxers instead for a healthy sperm count. Also, having sex in the morning would help since the semen has the highest number of sperm then

9. Have sex three times a week and Have sex before ovulation (not after). http://www.justmommies.com/articles/how-to-get-pregnant.shtml

STOP STRESSINg about it, do it naturaly, have faith and it will happen.

BEST OF LUCK

If your period isn't late or anything like that, chances are that you are not miscarrying or anything like that if that was one of your fears with not feeling well on your period. One thing that you need to remember is that some couples try for months before they concieve, and some have to get professional help in order to have a baby. All I can say is try having sex with your honey every day, starting a couple days after your period has ended, even a couple times a day. Keep it romantic and loving, and most importantly, have fun with it. If you haven't concieved after a couple months of marathon loving during your most furtal weeks, I would put a call into your gyno for some simple tests to make sure there isn't something more serious going on. Your gyno can also forward you to a specialist if he/she feels you guys need more help. I hope this helps and at least eases your fear a bit, good luck to you and your mate!

We ha sex every other day after I finished my period, I was pregnant in 3 weeks. ALso you might want to go on the pill for about 2 weeks and then try again, it makes you more fertile once you stop taking it. This is what my obgyn does when some women cannot become pregnant and then they are within 3 months.

First step: RELAX!!!! Second step: visit your ob/gyn to make sure everything is fine and in working order. Third step: Have fun!! Once the baby's here, sex will be much more difficult to make time for so enjoy this time now!
If getting pregnant was a difficult as you are making it, the human race would have died out a long time ago. Try doing it in the back of a car, that always seems to work.

I truly understand your frustration. I don't know how old you are, how long you have been trying, or what your doctor has said. I know that I have been off of the pill since 1990, had regular sex with my husband and had 3 pregnancies and only one living miracle child. Make sure you and your husband check out physically with the doctor and keep trying. If you are not successful, consider adoption. It can be very rewarding. I worked in adoptions for over 5 years and saw some wonderful things. Just food for thought. I hope this helps and I hope everything works out for you.

Come hang out with me. According to my Ob/Gyn, I am the only patient he knows who can get pregnant just by being in the same room as a man-even if that man never touched/looked at me. When I had my tubes tied, he told the nurses, "let's get this done quick, before she gets pregnant again". I laughed harder than they did.
Just keep trying, try not to stress. I'll be wishing you all the best of luck.

The most important thing is to use the ovulation tests. Follow the directions exactly. You need to have sex BEFORE your ovulation days!

Take a baby aspirin and a teaspoon of Robitussin every day. It changes the consistency of cervical mucus to make implantation more likely.

I too have the same problem. Go to the doctor and make sure everything is "in fact" ok. Then visit ferilityfriend.com. It's a really great website dedicated to fertility. You'll also find many people going through exactly the same issues and you can communicate with them on their forum.

Most couples have a hard time becuse of cervical mucus... keep charting your ovulation and your Basal body temp and try using Pre-seed around ovulation to conceive. Good Luck!

Have you been seeing your OBGYN reguarly? Have you had regular pap smears? If not, you need to get them done.

Slightly after your period, your regular vaginal discharge should be slightly yellowish. If it is not, you need to tell your doctor. (That's how my 9th grade teacher found out she was infertile.)

Make sure to take your folic acid and work out, sleep good and avoid stress and drugs. You can also get pregnant almost any time of them month, so keep trying. Your husband won't be disappointed. :)
