I myself like the Bellagio. Their fountains are awesome, especially when seen from above (Alladin hotel windows are the best view) Plus they have that huge garden/fountain inside. That's just my opinion though.

I adore the Ritz-Carlton. It is in Henderson in Lake Las Vegas. It has a different theme than most Vegas hotels. Las Vegas is usually showy, but this hotel is fun and has a great view of the lake. It is located close to the airport and the strip, but it is safe, secure, and fun. I love it because the rooms are cheaper than the Wynn and the Bellagio (which is cheap only if you reserve the rooms like one day in advance). The Venetian is cheap but is the same as the Bellagio. You can reserve a car to take you to the strip (with some packages it will be free..and it'll be a Mercedes). It is an all- around great location and even locals adore it.

You definitely want to stay on the strip!!!!! If you stay near the Luxor or Mandalay Bay, you have to walk a lot. I personally like Paris. It looks very cool. It the lobby, the have very cool architecture. I don't think it is too expensive. The Bellagio is also very nice, but some people there are very snotty! My parents have stayed in New York New York and they didn't like it. They said it was dirty. It really depends what kind of person you are.

I like the Stardust, too bad it is closing this fall.
It is one of the last of old Vegas Casinos. I always had pretty good luck there. I will have to spend some time at the stardust when I am there in early August and say goodbye to her.

I love the Venetian Hotel. I love the gondola rides and the shops. It's just a very nice hotel and casino. Great location.

I like Aladdin because they have lots of penny video poker machines.
My husband is a big fan of Casino Royale because their craps tables have lower limits than most of the other casinos on the strip.

The Venetian--I think it is gorgeous and the spa is fantastic, it is where I ususally stay. But for gambling I always end up going to Bally's--it is older and not as nice but I have great luck on the slots there, knock wood.

The MGM Grand, because it's so freaking huge.

HRH, I like the crowd and service. Gotta love the pool too. Also, like the lack of a buffet, and the fact it's off the strip, and close to UNLV.
