well its not good for the smaller businesses that lose their customers (and ultimately their businesses) to wal-mart...and wal-mart in efforts to increase profits will exploit the cheap labor and materials of china and india.....this doesnt necessarily help the job market here...

other than that i like shopping there for the prices and conviences

Walmart opened the flood gates for outsourcing and choose to deal with communist China. Its the height of hypocrisy that the US runs after commies like devils and yet allow its corporate giants to transfer technology to the commies. Almost everything now is made by a communist. Most of the stuff you see around your house were made in communist China. Walmart was never questioned about its dealings with a communist country. The economy of China quadrupled since the outsourcing begun. America doesn't produce anything much anymore but has learned to eat ,think ,live with communist producst.

I think there are a lot of good things about it. Look into the company a little bit; you'll see that their treatment of their employees is stellar. (I don't just mean at the stores; I mean in their home offices especially.) And look how they give jobs to handicapped people and seniors too, even if it's just as a greeter. I'm sure you can use employee treatment and the availability of more jobs as one of your arguments for this essay.
