No More

I lie here thinking of the face
Hoping the moonlight shines into those eyes
Wishing for the day of another kiss
Knowing my heart holds no more lies

I lie here thinking of the day
Waiting for you to hold my hand
Remembering the smell of your hair
Dreaming of the midnight air

I lie here thinking no more
No more hoping
No more wishing
No more knowing
No more waiting
No more Remembering
and no more dreaming of you

I wrote this poem after me and my boyfriend of 3 years broke up.

Yeah I think its a good poem because it expresses how you feel. When I get emotional happy, sad, frustrated, scared...etc. I write down my feelings too even if it doesn't rhyme. I think its a good way to get through different things in life. In a few weeks or however long it takes you to get over him you can look back at the poem and see how far you have come, and how much stronger you are for the relationship.
