Actually, I have read and studied the bible, and the history of Christianity and Judaism, and I am currently learning about a branch of biblical study that concentrates on the different manuscripts that made up the bible we know today, called textual criticism.
I am sorry, but bottom line: there is no reason, absolutely none, to believe for one second that a primitive tribe of warlike nomadic pastoralists we call the hebrews got everything right concerning all there is to know about the creator of the universe, over twenty-five hundred years ago. If the old testament is wrong about God, then the new testament cannot be correct either.
Believe whatever you want, but if you refuse to look into the origins of Christianity, and how it vastly it has changed through the ages, then you are believing in ignorance.

Not sure of your question, cause you never asked one, but as far as people getting decieved , I agree. There is so many religions out there and folks don't know what to believe. Jesus said I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. If folks would seek Him they will find Him. I aint talking about seeking what you have always heard or been taught, but look for him in His word. If you seek Him you will find Him. I hope you give the question you wanted to ask about Revelations cause I sure would love to comment on it.

I do believe, and after a long hard road, have reason to. And yes I think people are being decieved. Its funny how non believers chalk it up to a fairy tale or being fanatical, without even reading the bible. I believe alot of them are decieved by false prophits, and false witnesess who discourage them, and are a false face of gods true identity, and purpose.

Seriously though hold these things true Jesus said love one another and love GOD with all of your heart. If you believe you are protected. Forgive your enemies and you will be forgiven. Pray daily for goodness to overcome evil. The day of our lord is coming.

We are in the times of the laodocein church age where there is extreme unbelief as well as many deceivers or false prophets. It will be this way until Jesus comes again and the white thrown judgement takes place.
