Bush is the worst person to like at this time in American history, and according to this question. People who don't like Kanye are usually white, because they have no idea on what Black America is and they only get their information on blacks through television. Kanye West says a lot of things that is going on through the minds of blacks today, he's just the only one that's commercial enough to have access to public masses. People are just mad at him because they're so ignorant to think that this country is all perfect and equal to everyone. Ask any black person what htey think about this country and president bush. ASK THEM! You're gonna get a totally different view on things than you'll ever get on a dumba** yahoo site. Don't speak about blacks if you know nothing about the world we have to live in. It's totally different than the oodles of noodles that you're used to. Bush and his republican buddies could care less about blacks. He hasn't met with the NAACP since he's been in office! Damn. That's over six years he hasn't checked in with the black pupulation...going on 8.
Sadly, it's going to be extremely hard to end institutionalized racism when it's been INSTITUTIONALIZED and designed that way. Especially as the media keeps showing that the only way we can succeed is by selling drugs, rapping, telling jokes, or playing basketball. As long as they see that we're not trying to change things like the civil rights era, whites in control are just going to sit back and watch. It disgusts me when it's an accepted fact that to be and educated black man means that you're trying to be white.
Not all white people are like this, just hte ones that are in control.

When there becomes a more viable way for the society to cleave the elite from the steerage. Right now, with reasonable expectation, a person can consider a black individual unlikely to be wealthy, or have a wealthy daddy or uncle with a million $ to act as a safety net should they fail to "pull themselves up by their bootstraps" as the stupid saying goes. So, if you are a mutual funds sales rep, a porfolio manager, a high end real estate agent, you are still better investing your time shmoozing with the white people, especially those with anglo sir names. Yes there are blacks with money but get real, of all of the millionaires in the US, guarantee that African americans are no where near the 8% that they make up in the general pop. Disgustingly, many people buy into a mythology like this: Intellegence = human-ness, if you are smart and a "good" person you will make money in the US if not you will fail because you are not intellegent and are lazy. Therefore, poor people are stupid, and even questionably human. Otherwise, why would they be poor? Again, African americans have less access to deep pockets than a randomly selected white. (FYI, not all white people are priveledged with wealthy connections)
The end is like this: Two ways.
Continued pressure for equal opportunity. This may or may not mean affirmative action. Over time, the distribution of wealth and power will even out, across the races anyway. Problem with this is that resources tend, and are tending, to aglomerate, meaning the rich do really get richer.
Second way is over time the races will mix, to the dismay of airhead bigots in every corner. This will also make the snap judgement that opportunity providers make less useful, so they will need to find other ways to seek out potential wealthy cronies.
In the end, it will still be the elites protecting their interests at the expense of the less resourcefully endowed, but it will be equally distributed between the "races". So, I'm not sure that we are addressing the fundamental problem.

Are you attempting to assert white persons are actually not responsive to who hates them, and that someway you may understand greater approximately US than we do???
