Smooth night out at a favorite place. Flowers are always good, which ever occasion it is. Dancing together (if couple). Any present is great. LIke going to the store, and let her try an outfit to go out that same day in. Or a book that you both choose, to read on the beach at sundown. All the little things count!

i love when my bf puts serious thought into a gift. Not buying me flowers, or taking me to dinner. those are such unoriginal ideas. Last year he surprised me on a 2 1/2 hour drive to this water park. He had gotten a hotel room for the night, and got me an engraved gift.
Think of things she's mentioned that she likes or wanted. Girls can be tricky, because we talk a lot and give hints...you could ask one of her girlfriends to give you suggestions.

well, I am a bit older than yall, but when a man pays attention to what you like and purchases what you have admired....
For instance, my guy bought me an antique cuckoo clock that is 120 years old for Valentines Day. I am a plant person so I have recieved live plants. It is also great when the guy can cook and can cook your fave meal for your birthday.

If we don't have kids, jewelry is a GREAT gift. If we have kids we usually like to have a night off from the kids, cooking, cleaning, etc. We like to pampered sometimes.

well the thought is greater than the gift, perhaps something within your means like cosmetics, bags , shoes, clothing, ornaments,jewelleries and of course a suprise birthday party ...

well, for me its not the gifts,its the experience. i love to spend my bday with the ppl i love wether its jz chilling out, going shopping, bowling, dinig out,gossipping or watever..plan the day well n enjoy..

well my birthday just happened like a few dys ago and my bf got me so much stuff, my friemds got me MONEY lol i had cash from my party . even my bf's grandma got me a teddy bear my bf's sister amde me a braclet that said my name. and my bf got me 2 necklaces , one that matches his and one that has to hearts of gold and say i l0ve you! it was really nice all of his family loves me , i feel loved!
