Brett is way better, for all you clowns that said Dan didn't have anybody to support him you weren't following the dolphins.when jimmy Johnson took over from don he got rid of 19 former first round draft picks.Dan had plenty of support he just couldn't get it done.

Brett Favre has had the better career. He has a SB ring, plus he has more career wins than Marino, and he could break Marino's career TD record w/in the next 2 yrs. Also you have to throw in the fact that Brett has started every game since 1992. Marino was great, but he has bare fingers.

OMG, is this question for real?

Dan Marino by a country mile.

He's probably the 3rd best QB of all time.
Just look at his numbers.
If he ever had a running game behind him or a decent D that could hold the opposition to 20 points or less he would've picked up a ring or two.

He destroyed the Bears of 85 of Christs sake.
Buddy Ryan and that 46 Defense would've buried any other QB...except Dan the Man.

He's only behind Elway (who is #2).
A more complete QB.

And of course #1 is a no brainer.
Otto Graham.

Who?

Yeah, read up on it rookies.
Your memory is tilted for the last 16 years of football.
Football didn't exist before 1990 right?

Otto Graham is #1.

Marino any day. Never had a decent running game, had to do it all for the offense with his arm. Just think if Marino would've had one last shot with Ricky Williams(the year he ran for 1,800+ yards.) That would've been the year of the fins, I guarantee. Even towards the end of his career, he was still putting up good numbers. All Favre does is throw the ball as hard as he can, and hope it doesn't get picked off. He's a joke now, he really is. You couldn't say that about Marino his last few seasons. He was still a great QB.

lol, MARINO! by far. not even a question. true he did not win a super bowl. but the fact that we still consider him so high on the qb list without a ring says something. he never had a D to support him. and just cause farve has won a super bowl, and marino has not, does that mean that every qb that has won a sb is better then marino? i dont think jim mcmahon is better then marino, or doug williams, or phil sims.

Dan has more records but Brett has the ring. It would be great if we could put those two quarterbacks on the exact same team and then compare, to bad that could never happen.

Farve. he never quit before he got the ring or you could say that Dan gave it his all but his team was terrible Marino had more records it just looked bad on his part because his team was so crappy i say farve no doubt

Brett did.

Dan is the better quarterback, but Brett played on better teams

The Farve of today is well past his prime. He has trouble leading his team to victory over the lowly Lions. He should have retired. Green Bay has my sympathy.
