It stops people just posting hundreds of "gibberish" answers, to try and get lots of points.

conditioning, it keeps you from getting bored with the system during the first days/weeks until you become used to using this system. Once the habit has been created you are set free to use it all day long.
You are being conditioned much in the same way you would condition your kitten to use his litter box.
