Erm, I think maybe people are taking your question too literally (definitely too seriously), Patz.
My answer would be that Han Solo very definitely prefers to drink alone. He also dines alone, sleeps alone, goes to films alone; basically, he does everything alone. He's Han SOLO.
Now, his cousin, Han Duo, is another matter entirely... And so, too, is his nephew, Han Trio... And then there is -- okay, I'll stop now. ;-)
And people think I take things too seriously...

Here's some useless trivia for you: the original rough-cut of the cantina scene had a girl in the booth with Han when Ben and Luke come to talk. Beyond that, I assume Chewie and Han drink together sometimes and at others he prefers to be "solo".

no cause he was with chewbacca when luke and obie wan met with him but not before obi wan sliced some knarly looking dude and his side kick then he gave this look to every one in the bar like as if to say " anyone else" but what I loved was after solo stunned guido he walked out of the bar with this clint eastwood walk as he told the bar tender "sorry about the mess" and yes he did stun him unless there are more bounty hunter that look like him because when luke and obi wan were making a b- line for the falcon you can see him again in another scene(yea I seen the movie too many times) but you got to admit it it's a cool movie.

In the first scene he is with Chewy, just the 2 of them before they meet with Obi and Luke.

Because it leaves plenty of room for the glasses to buildup, since he keeps calling for "One Scotch, one Bourbon, and one beer!"
The bar keeps are too busy cleaning up after lightsaber cuts, and bounty hunters who have no sense of self-perservation!
Tell ya what, that's one heck of a band playing, can I pull up a chair? That is if the Wookie doesn't mind!
