There was never a clear answer to Squall's parents. But a lot of people think he's the unknown son of Laguna and Raine. But still that's never been proven.

Squall is an orphan. That's the point of his story. It doesn't matter who his dad is. He was destined to be an orphan to be a seed. Final Fantasy games don't usually have codes programmed into them. Check out Gameshark websites. FF8 is one of the best.

I thought all the kids were orphans and grew up in the same house as children. They all used magic, which made them forget their pasts, so Squall wouldn't even know who his father, much less his mother is.
