Never in a million years! Money is a finite resource that we will never be satisfied with. We will always hunger for more of it, no matter what amount we may have in our possession. Love however, true love, not the infatuation of another person can satisfy our most deepest desire; to be part of something meaningful. No one in this world wants to be alone. Even the most seasoned hermit desires the companionship of others at some point or another. It was never our design to be rich or powerful. To love and be loved however, is something that is the right and gift of every human being.

Money often gets in the way of love. My freind makes a pretty good living and had been with his "soul mate". As the relationship progressed she indicated to him that she makes $150k per year and his $50+k per year wasn't enough to keep her in the style she had grown accustomed to. He offered a solution...she put's in her $50k and he puts in his $50k and they'll have a nice annual $100k to live on. He didn'tt care what she does with the remaining $100k of her income. She told him he didn't understand...she had been doing what she did for 13 years and was "tired". In other words to her the finances were more important than the feelings. I felt badly for my friend as he was truly heartbroken and has never forgotten her or his love for her...but he did move on to marry and is now happy...but I know that she still sometimes comes into his thoughts.

I was married to a man who was more in love with money than he was with me. This attitude destroyed my marriage because we were always arguing about money and never talked about what was important.......US.

No No No..........money is not more important than real love.

With real love you can make anything work and you can survive anything.........money can only buy things and pay bills

Love.........it can get you through times when you don't have any or very much money. I've talked to kids whose parents gave them all the things in life that money could buy but spent no time with them and all they really wanted was their parents time, not their money. Once you spend the money it's gone, but time spent makes memories, and they never go away.
