I asked this because someone asked a question who saw pirates of the carribean 2, and I looked at the page and someone said yay and captain jack dies on the end.

Judging by the fact that they're making a third, it looks somewhat doubtful.

I can tell you that he cant, as they have already made the third film. As it was cheaper for location filming, and the only way to garuntee the cast would be together and available at the same time if they made the two films back to back. And Johnny is in the cast for both, so you can rest assured he wont die in part two, but who knows what could happen at the end of part 3.

Well, I assume that you know that the pirates of the caribbean is going to be made into a trilogy, and that you also know that Jack Sparrow is like the main character. If they kill him in the 2nd movie of a trilogy, what would happen in the third. It would be like killing off Harry Potter before the 7th Book!

Its not actually certian weather or not he dies.
All you know is that Barbosa comes down from the witches stair case and says "lets get going".
You know theres going to be a third movie because it was in the making the same time as the 2'd one, and according to Jay Leno Johnny Depp is getting paid a TON to do ALL THREE movies.
Lol.
Its an amazing movie, I'd suggest you go and see it.

Oh no! They can't kill Captain Jack! He makes the whole movie. Besides they are already making the third one and Johnny Depp is in it. I heard the second one has a cliff hanger ending so maybe they make you think he's dead.

Somehow, I doubt that he dies... as there is a Third movie being shot for release in 2007... again, with Cap'n Jack and company.

Yes. Jack will die. But Will Turner have to choose between his father 'Bootstrap' Bill Turner or Jack to live.

actually I was under the impression from watching the first one that he was kind of dead already, and plus like everyone else has said they are making a third one right now so it wouldn't work out to well to kill off the character completely now

I didn't see it yet (i wish i saw it last night) but if Capt. Jack Sparrow died, then there wouldn't be a third one (I heard on radio they were maknig one), because what is P.O.T.C without CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW!? lol

No, a 3rd one is coming next year , and if he dies there would be no sense of making another one.
