convex mirrors form diminished images so such mirrors are useful in car rear views to have a better view of the traffic behind

driver side mirror is to see behind you for backing up cloce
the passergen side mirror tells you about approching cars in yor lane or the next lane for switching or avoiding something coming up fast


but some people do not like it cause it make the view look small not like it is surpose to. they aughta stamp on the mirror
